Sometimes it is hard to visualise exactly where and how the pelvic floor works. To help you, the Physiocise Team has produced this special video. Our expert Women’s Health physio Dimity Thompson uses our Real-Time Ultrasound to show exactly what is happening.
Our physio Sarah Kelliher is a terrific model for the session. You can watch the pelvic floor on the Ultrasound screen as she takes slow deep breaths. See what happens when she holds her breath, and be impressed with the strength of activation as Dimity cues her to lift, lift, lift!
