OUR PHYSIO
Josie Wild

BAppSc(Phty) MPH, APAM

Some of our long-standing Physiocise community will remember the effervescent Josie Wild - who started with us in the late 90’s, way back in the days of the Castlecrag Hall! Building on her University of Sydney Applied Science Physiotherapy degree, Josie has been very busy for the last 10 years, doing a Masters in Public Health and then working to support large-scale Chronic Disease Prevention and Diabetes programs. She then studied and worked in fitness programs in Canada, where she met the love of her life, Warren. They returned to Sydney, where Josie had been making a difference with exercise programs in aged care.

Very keen to move back upstream in the world of exercise as medicine, Josie returned to the Physiocise team with a particular interest in our Strong Bones and Strong Knees programs. As one of our founding physios, Josie is really excited to see the developments in our Foundations and Floppy/Flippy programs and is super keen to help a new generation of Physiocisers off to a great start on their journey to better backs, bodies and bones.

Our Silver Strong classes are also a passion for Josie. Having worked in aged care and community physio – she knows first-hand the importance of good balance and fall prevention. Josie was the leader of our Slip Saver team – designing and providing up-to-date research-based exercises for fall prevention.

Josie’s passion for the greater good of society has led her to develop the amazing Olive Tree Health and its Connect program for women experiencing domestic and physical violence. She is at the Daisy Centre, Mary’s House and the Banksia Women in Darlinghurst on top of her work at Physiocise - we think she is just amazing and can’t wait to help Olive Tree Health grow!

Josie is available for consultations at both our Willoughby and Moore Park Studios.
