OUR PHYSIO
Samantha Peacock
BAppSc (Physiotherapy) Post Grad Dip (Manip therapy) APAM
Samantha Peacock graduated from the University of Sydney in 1990. With a keen interest in sport, her passion was always injury prevention and rehabilitation. Sam has worked in private practice and sports physiotherapy. During this time working in New Zealand, she toured as the physio for the NZ Women’s cricket team, the Canterbury Women’s Hockey and Women’s Rugby teams, and was physio at the World Netball Champs in NZ.
Over the next few years, she developed extensive manual therapy skills specialising in private practice.
When Sam got busier with her three gorgeous kids, she widened her range of experience working in acute hospital care, maternity education and treatment, and orthopaedic rehabilitation - both for inpatient and outpatient settings.
In all these settings, she has loved nothing more than finding great ways to teach patients to manage their bodies and get back to doing the things they love to do. This makes her a perfect fit to help clients either during consults or in a class environment.
Sam’s favourite places to be are in the water swimming in squads, out cycling with friends, or off on hiking adventures anywhere in the world.
Her 3 amazing kids are now growing up – two are at uni and the baby Gus is finishing high school.
