PHYSIOCISE FRIENDS WALKING AND TALKING

Walk & talk physiocisers.jpg

Often when clients join Physiocise it is all about their bodies. But over time, many classes are as much about connecting with weekly friends as they are about staying strong! With COVID related limitations in place, one class took to WhatsApp to organise their own catch ups and started the Physiocise Talkers group.

They now meet up for walks around Sydney’s beautiful harbour site spots, chatting their way around! What a great way to keep active and to keep their connection strong …….. in a socially distanced kind of way!

DON’T LET DRIVING BE A PAIN IN THE NECK!

Anna-Louise had a terrific catch up with Josh Szeps on ABC radio recently. He was really keen to find out how to to take the load of his neck when driving.

Does driving give you a pain in the neck!? How should you set up your car seat? What exercises can you do at the traffic lights? It’s not that hard to fix once you know some of the tips and tricks.

LIVING IN THE NEW NEXT PODCAST

Melissa and Anna-Louise were thrilled to be profiled in this high profile podcast sponsored by Microsoft. Hosts Greta Thomas and Claire Hatton share stories and insights about how business owners have survived and adapted their businesses during COVID.

Physiocise was chosen a a great case study for a whole lot of reasons

  • It was a 25 year old analogue business with 100% face to face classes that pivoted to teaching 120 online classes a week - all in 10 days!

  • Their amazing Customer Support Team were able to coach patients from 35 to 85 on how to get online. And even went to some clients homes to help them!

  • Their physio instructors suddenly had to re-learn a completely different way to teach a class virtually, using headsets, mixers, live streamed interactive TEAMS conferencing

  • they had to commit to investing heavily in devices, hardware, software and infrastructure to maintain the high quality of service to their loyal clients

  • they developed a whole digital communications strategy to support the transition

Hopefully you will love this conversation with Melissa and Anna-Louise who share some really inspiring stories and advice on how they harnessed technology to transform their business, found new opportunities in the process, and now feel confident about thriving in the New Next.
