Strong Bones Foundations - Week 2

The 3 key exercise elements to helping your bones are strength, impact and balance. However, we may also need to keep in mind previous aches and pains you have. That way, you feel safe as you exercise.

This week we learnt about how to do fabulous squats - while trying to use your core at the same time!

Here’s a great video showing the layers of your core and how to effectively work the deepest layers first. This one is an important daily core check-in - we call it a Reboot.

Often this needs some practice, so both these great videos help remind you of the key elements along the way. Practice these, and lifting weights becomes easier and safer.
