Strong Bones Foundations - Week 3
Did you know that there are ways to not only maintain bone density but also to improve our bones regardless of age? The tricky bit is getting into good habits to build bone.
Research shows that provided we are getting sufficient Vitamin D and have a good diet, then the right exercise done at the right dose can not only maintain but improve our bone health.
This week we talked about building strength in our legs and buttock muscles. To do this, we need a better handle on how to use our core under different loads – this includes our breathing, our pelvic floor and the walls of our core.
