Strong Bones Foundations - Week 7

This week in class, we discussed the benefits Vitamin D has for your bones. Sometimes the amount of sun we need to look after our bones might be a surprise in the age of Slip Slop Slap!

There is a great map below showing the time exposure you need for different seasons and locations across Australia.

The other surprising statistic is just how much specific balance practice we need each week if we want to improve our balance and reduce the risk of falling. We introduced the fabulous Clock Yourself App as a fun way to combine balance and agility in a few short minutes!
