Our amazing physio, Natalie Kaebisch, is also a specialist cycling coach. One of her protégés is one of Australia's best road cyclists, Sarah Roy. Sarah recently competed in the Tour de France Femmes race, and Nat was there to cheer and coach her on! Congratulations, girls, on an amazing tour!

Coming up in Term 4…Kitchen B.A.S.S.

Next term, we are bringing the B.A.S.S. back to the kitchen. This will help you integrate it into your regular day, especially as we near the end of the year and all the “busyness” that comes with it!

Term 4 clients are eligible to receive Kitchen B.A.S.S. for free. If you are already enrolled for Term 4 classes, click here to sign up for your complimentary weekly bite-sized exercise prompts on Sundays at 7 a.m.


MAGGIE HORTON, CLIENT OF THE TERM

Physiocise started 29 years ago, and we have some clients who have been with us since around that time. One is the lovely Maggie Horton, who started coming to classes around 25 years ago! Someone had told her about us, and at the time she had a sore low back.  

Fast forward to 2024, and in her late 80’s, Maggie still loves attending her regular Tuesday Silver Strong class. “I know I need it. It keeps me fit and strong. I’m not so good at doing exercises by myself at home, so class helps me do it. I have lovely, nice friends in class, and we also go for coffee afterwards. It’s all part of my weekly routine’.  

Physiocise also helps her stay strong enough for travels and adventures – recently a trip with her daughter to Tokyo. “Class keeps me strong so I can do lots of walking each week, but also when I travel somewhere. One trip a few years ago I clocked 17,000 steps in one day which isn’t bad. I also get very stiff these days, so class keeps me stretched out”.
